In July, for a fourth year, Paris City Council organises a huge treasure hunt throughout five areas (3rd, 6th, 13th, 18th and 19th arrondissement). It enables Parisians and many visitors of the capital to get together and discover the city in a different light, bringing them in touch with local retailers, crafts people and local neighbourhood associations.
The aim is to solve the riddle either alone or in a team thanks to clues that can be found in unusual places. The quest rounds off with a convivial get-together and entertaining activities as well as the prizegiving. Two agencies also organise private treasure hunts in the capital for groups.
