The new edition of HIP OPsession, an internationally renowned cultural hip hop festival, will be held from February 11 to 27, 2010 in the city of Nantes and its neighbouring towns. This event, which first started in 2005, increasingly gained potential and is now widely recognised by people and artists.
For 15 days, the HIP Opsession festival will be the opportunity to attend special events in order to celebrate the movement in all its forms: concerts, dance performances, challenges, exhibitions, workshops and debates will follow one another to satisfy both beginners and professionals as well as hip hop culture lovers.
On the programme there will be more than 30 shows: music, dance, graffiti and conferences. Originality, diversity and cultural wealth are the driving forces behind this event. For two weeks, the whole Hip Hop culture will flood over Nantes and its surroudings, from concert halls such as Pol’N and L’Olympic to bars such as Lieu Unique.
In total over 15,000 visitors are expected for the whole festival. HIP OPsession now enjoys an international reputation as it is one of the largest hip hop festivals in Europe.
